VNU Expositions Jewelry Group will host a cocktail party on behalf of Jewelers for Children (JFC), during its "Fine Jewelry CEO Summit" in Dallas. The February 22 reception is being sponsored by ABN AMRO Bank, DiModolo, K & G Creations, and Mémoire.
“The cocktail party kicks off the 2006 JFC fundraising campaign, which culminates in our annual Facets of Hope Dinner in Las Vegas on June 4th,” said Howard Sherwood, JFC’s vice president of fundraising. “The kickoff provides an opportunity to recognize as ‘2006 Pacesetters’ all supporting retailers and manufacturers who have made their 2006 commitment prior to this important gathering of our industry’s key executives,” said Sherwood.
“VNU is very pleased to provide its ‘CEO Summit’ on an annual basis as a platform to showcase JFC’s fundraising efforts,” said Nancy Robey, vice president of global new business development for the VNU Expositions Jewelry Group and a JFC Board member.
JFC is the U.S. jewelry industry's charity. JFC programs reach children whose lives have been devastated by catastrophic illness or life-threatening abuse and neglect. JFC’s charity partners include the Make-A-Wish Foundation, National CASA Association, Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
