Jewelers for Children Unveils CD Program
August 09, 06Jewelers for Children has partnered with Totally Anonymous Music, Inc. on a specially designed program for retailers to raise funds for JFC with a series of compilation CD’s. A significant portion of the proceeds from the CD’s, which are already available for retailers to display and sell in their stores, will benefit JFC and its charity partners.
Today’s consumers are evolving and becoming more active in their communities on behalf of cause based initiatives, believes Jewelers for Children. They jump at the opportunity to help when it is presented to them during the course of activities they perform regularly, such as shopping. “We are in business to assist worthy non-profits in their fundraising efforts. This project is perfectly suited to the JFC mission of helping Children in Need – and it does so in a way that allows retailers the opportunity to profit from the program while simultaneously contributing significant monies to JFC’s Network of Charities,” says Robin J. Gordon, president of Totally Anonymous Music, Inc.
The first CD, a 2006 Grammy Award winner for Best Musical Children’s Album, "Songs From the Neighborhood® - The Music of Mister Rogers", is now available for retail jewelers as a point of purchase add on with a mission of helping children in need.
Jewelers can purchase the CD’s, accompanied by a counter display, and sell them to customers when they’re making jewelry purchases. Jewelers may also purchase a supply of the CD’s and give them as gifts to customers with a purchase. “This is a very important step for us in expanding our fundraising efforts,” says David Rocha, executive director of Jewelers for Children. “In addition, TAM offers co-branding opportunities for large orders of CDs.”
As well as the current Children’s album, a romance compilation will be released in the fall, just in time for Valentine’s Day.
