LVMH’s Watches & Jewelry Revenues Up 22%
October 17, 06LVMH revenues in the first nine months of 2006 are of €10.6 billion ($13.32 billion), an organic growth of 11 percent compared to the same period in 2005. Revenue at LVMH’s Watches & Jewelry business group increased by 22 percent to €489 million ($614.38 million).
The watches and jewelry group saw strong performance by a number of its brands. TAG Heuer continued to achieve strong increases in its revenue, driven notably by further progress of the Aquaracer and Carrera lines. The brand reportedly had “excellent” performances in Europe, the U.S., and Asia.
Zenith benefited from a successful reception of the new sports line Defy and recorded sustained growth. Christian Dior continued to enlarge its Christal line while Chaumet opened its largest store worldwide in Hong Kong.
Revenues at the Fashion & Leather Goods group increased 11 percent to €3,729 million.
LVMH expects a significant increase in annual results.
