DTC Campaign Promotes Turkey Diamond Sales
April 05, 07A new DTC campaign entitled ‘Lava: Energy of Love’ will soon entreat Turks to buy more diamonds. Diamond sales in the country have surged 20 percent in the past two years, and the push is aimed at boosting sales to the $1 billion mark.
“Our campaign ‘Lava: Energy of Love' will definitely accelerate sales,” says DTC Diamond Promotion Manager Esra Buyukozer.
Diamonds in the country are still special occasion purchases made by a limited portion of the population. But this market continues to expand thanks to favorable payment terms and advertising.
Turkish diamond sellers Atasay, Altinbas, Zen, Aris, and Gilan have all recently launched campaigns aimed at increasing diamond jewelry sales.
