Gold Drops to $785 Per Ounce

The price of gold on Friday dropped to $785.40, its lowest point since October 30, when it closed at just over 780. Since this date, the price of gold had risen to $835, its highest point in at least a year.
The drop represented a 5.7 percent decrease, the sharpest fall since March 2007.
