Following a weak holiday season In the U.S., a market viewed as a saturated one, the shift to the emerging markets of Asia is a natural one. The Hong Kong show in September was a boon, with many Indian firms buying goods at a ferocious appetite. That may have sparked the interest in neighboring Macau.
The interest in the established VicenzaOro show is a little different. The winter show, running January 13 – 20, is all about the new fashion trends in jewelry as the Italian exhibitors roll out their latest creations. For the Israeli’s, this is an opportunity to forge new commercial ties with Italian jewelers - something that usually happens towards the end of the show as the show slows down - and of course service existing clients.
The Israel Diamond Pavilion will host nine Israeli companies at the Diamond Avenue in Pavilion G. The nine are A.G. Diamond Direct, Eizenstein Diamonds, Fancy Colours, Gal Diamonds, Lustig Brothers, Moshe Namdar & Co., SDE Group, S.K.R. Fine Jewelry and YEI – Yahalomei Espeka.
They are joined by a number of additional firms, arriving independently from the IDI.
