The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) today handed over the keys to offices in the Almas Tower to owners of office spaces in floors 2-30. All owners are members of the diamond sector – either traders or service providers.
The 65-floor Almas (“diamond” in Arabic) Tower is the DMCC’s flagship tower, built to cater to the specific needs of the diamond industry. The keys were handed over to almost 100 members in a ceremony. The owners can now fit out their offices before moving into them.
Ahmed bin Sulayem, executive chairman of the DMCC said, "The completion of Almas Tower is a significant step towards DMCC's objective of establishing a dedicated market place, providing industry-specific market infrastructure and full range of facilities for the diamond trade in Dubai.
“Equipped with hi-tech security systems and secure vaulting facilities, Almas Tower offers an entire range of diamond trade-related facilities…It will also house Dubai Diamond Exchange, the region's only diamond exchange."
