Blue Nile CFO Easton Resigns, VP Finance Steps In

Blue Nile recently appointed Chief Financial Officer Robin Easton has turned in his resignation, effective March 31. Easton will be replaced by Terri Maupin, the company’s Vice President of Finance and Controller.

Maupin, 46, has served as Blue Nile’s VP of Finance since July 2004.

Easton took on the role last September, serving as CFO only six months. The company has had problems in filling the position for some time. In July 2007, shortly after his appointment, Scott Devitt decided he would not take the job, citing personal considerations. President Diane Irvine served as CFO in the mean time.
