Jewelers for Children Hosts Great Escapes Events

Jewelers for Children recently hosted with Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation a Great Escapes program for seriously ill children and their families. The programs, held in 11 different communities on March 9, included jewelry making, ice cream sundae buffets and celebrity guests.
Great Escapes is a Starlight program that consists of group outings to provide families with a chance to bond and recharge outside the hospital environment, while at the same time connecting them with other families facing similar challenges to build a network of support.
Jewelers for Children has contributed a total of $250,000 to support programs benefiting Starlight children and families. To date, it has made possible 19 such “Sparkling Sundaes,” the placement of eight PC Pal laptop computers and two
