My Solitaire Average Order Rises to $550
May 27, 08MySolitaire, an online retailer of diamonds and fine jewelry, posted an unusual 220 percent growth in revenues in the first quarter. The rise coincides with a 30 percent increase in the value of average orders to an estimated $550.
The company did not report specific revenue figures.
“The sales revenue growth has cautiously met out expectations, despite the restrained consumer demand,” CEO and co-founder Ashish Jhalani said, adding that they need to “increase and maintain the pace of our growth.”
MySolitaire customers seem to have a wide range of taste in terms of style, but a rather specific focus in terms of diamonds. VP Sales & Marketing and co-founder Amit Jhalani told IDEX Online that diamond sizes selling strong are 0.75 carat and 1.5 carat GIA stones with triple excellent makes in various range of color and clarity.
“Customers want to be unique, and MySolitaire.com provides them a way to be with such a large suite of products, and product ranges,” he added.
