CIBJO Launches Retailers Reference Guide

CIBJO, the World Jewellery Confederation, released a retailers reference guide, which discusses the fundamental elements of diamonds, gemstones, pearls and precious metals. Published during the recent CIBJO congress in Istanbul, it aims to help retailers extend their and their staff’s knowledge.

This guide is the result of the efforts of a large number of members from all CIBJO commissions and led by the marketing and education commission.

The handbook is an accessible reference guide that allows jewelry retailers at all levels to benefit from the enormous knowledge contained within CIBJO.

“The Retailers' Reference Guide is a real milestone for CIBJO. We have responded to the needs of our members and the jewelry industry globally by creating a guide that is useful for the most junior retail staff, whilst still remaining a core resource to the most experienced of retailers,” said Jonathan Kendall, president of the Marketing and Education Commission.
