IDI Office in Hong Kong Gets New MD

(IDEX Online News) – The Israel Diamond Institute Group (IDI) representative office in Hong Kong, IDI – Asia Pacific, has a new managing director. Michal Gordon-Keret replaces Orly Yaffe, who opened the office in July 2007.

The Hong Kong office was opened as part of IDI’s Asian-focused strategy. The office is responsible for promoting Israeli trade with the major and rapidly growing markets of Hong Kong, China and other parts of Asia.

Gordon-Keret has had a long career in management and administration in major companies, educational institutions and non-profits in Israel and abroad, the IDI said today.

“The Hong Kong office is an essential element in IDI’s business strategy and plays an important role in our marketing and business development activities," IDI Chairman Moti Ganz said. "I am sure that Michal will continue the excellent work that Orly began and I wish her great success.”
