(IDEX Online News) – Former De Beers Director of External Affairs Rory More O'Ferrall has been appointed as honorary vice chairman of the Diamond Development Initiative (DDI) where his aim will be to help boost the organization’s corporate relations.
More O'Ferrall left De Beers after 36 years with the miner in 2007. He played a role in helping to found the World Diamond Council (WDC) and as a WDC director was involved in developing the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme.
