The IDEX Online Polished Price Report for November 7, 2013

(IDEX Online News) – For the second consecutive week there was a rise in the number of positive changes in prices of round diamonds, however the smallest and largest sizes were for the most part unchanged, according to this week's IDEX Online Price Report.

Meanwhile, fancy diamonds saw a moderate level of activity with many solid risers, but overall declining.

Following are some of the changes in this week's IDEX Online Diamond Price Report.

• 0.23-0.29 cts H / SI1 +3.6% to $1,350 p/c
• 0.30-0.39 cts many increases in top colors, medium-lower clarities
• 0.40-0.44 cts D-G / SI1 rises of more than 2.0%
• 0.45-0.49 cts F-H / SI3 rises of around 3.0%
• 0.50-0.69 cts N / I1 +5.9% to $900 p/c
• 0.70-0.79 cts  many decreases
• 0.80-0.89 cts mostly declining
• 0.90-0.99 cts F-G / IF declining
• 1.00-1.24 cts N / VVS1-VS1 declines of 2-3%
• 1.25-1.49 cts many decreases
• 2 cts D / VVS2 -3.1% to $34,000 p/c
• 3 cts  unchanged
• 4 cts almost unchanged
• 5 cts J / VVS1 -3.1% to $27,900 p/c

Fancy Cuts

• 0.18-0.22 cts E / VS2 +3.3% to $1,550 p/c
• 0.23-0.29 cts just one decline
• 0.30-00.39 cts unchanged
• 0.40-0.44 cts H / VS1-VS2 declining by around 3%
• 0.45-0.49 cts I / VS2-SI1 declines of more than 3%
• 0.50-0.69 cts many increases
• 0.70-0.79 cts J / SI3 +3.3% to $1,550 p/c
• 0.80-0.89 cts I / I1-I2 rising
• 0.90-0.99 cts K / VVS2 +4% to $2,600 p/c
• 1.00-1.24 cts several decreases
• 1.50-1.99 cts I-K/ I1 rises of around 3.0%
• 2 cts unchanged
• 3 cts J / VVS1 +2.7% to $11,400 p/c
• 4 cts G-I / IF rises of 3.0%
