The IDEX Online Polished Price Report for December 5, 2013

IDEX Online News) – An overwhelmingly negative week for round diamonds, with just a handful of rising prices and many unchanged prices, according to this week's IDEX Online Price Report.

Meanwhile, in line with activity in recent weeks, fancy shape diamonds again saw lower levels of activity with rises and declines fairly evenly balanced.

The following are some of the changes in this week's IDEX Online Diamond Price Report.

• 0.18-0.22 cts just two changes, both declines
• 0.23-0.29 cts I-K / SI1 declines of 4.0%-5.0%
• 0.30-0.39 cts G / I2 +5.6% to $950 p/c
• 0.40-0.44 cts K / SI2-I1 rises of 4.0%-5.0%
• 0.45-0.49 cts E-F / SI1 rising by 2.0%
• 0.50-0.69 cts many declines
• 0.70-0.79 cts just one change, a decliner
• 0.89 cts two decliners
• 0.90-0.99 cts L / IF-VVS2 declining by 3.0%
• 1.00-1.24 cts D / I1 +2.0% to $5,000 p/c
• 1.25-1.49 cts two decliners in lower color, better clarities
• 2 cts D / I1 -3.0% to $16,200 p/c
• 3 cts  just one change, downwards
• 4 cts D-F / VVS1 declines of around 3.0%
• 5 cts unchanged

• 0.40-0.44 cts just one change, a decline

• 0.80-0.89 cts unchanged
• 0.90-0.99 cts K / SI2-SI3 rises of around 5.0% to $4,300 p/c
• 1.00-1.24 cts just two changes, both negative
• 1.50-1.99 cts L / VVS1 +2.6% to $3,900 p/c
