The IDEX Online Polished Price Report for January 30, 2014

(IDEX Online News) – This week again saw a range of rising prices in smaller round diamonds, and declines for larger stones, according to the IDEX Online Price Report.

Fancy shape stones saw moderate activity, with slightly more declines than rises.

The following are some of the changes in this week's IDEX Online Diamond Price Report.

• 0.18-0.22 cts E-F / VVS1-VVS2 declines of around 2.0%
• 0.23-0.29 cts unchanged
• 0.30-0.39 cts a range of rises in better colors, lower clarities
• 0.40-0.44 cts strong increases in good colors, medium clarities
• 0.45-0.49 cts D-E / SI2-I3 rises of 2-5%
• 0.50-0.69 cts G-I / SI2 rises of 2.0%
• 0.70-0.79 cts L-M / VS1-VS2 decreasing by 2.0%
• 0.80-0.89 cts K-N / IF-VVS1 decreases of 2-4%
• 0.90-0.99 cts a large range of declines
• 1.00-1.24 cts just one change, downwards
• 1.25-1.49 cts unchanged
• 2 cts J-N / I1 decreases of 2-6%
• 3 cts unchanged
• 4 cts E-F / SI1 rises of 2-3%
• 5 cts  two declines

• 0.30-0.39 cts F / VVS1-VVS2 rises of 2.0%

• 0.70-0.79 cts I / VS1 -3.3% to $2,900 p/c
• 0.80-0.89 cts D / VVS2 -2.6% to $5,550 p/c

• 1.50-1.99 cts K / IF +4.0% to $5,200 p/c
