The IDEX Online Polished Price Report for June 12, 2014

(IDEX Online News) – There were relatively few changes again in round diamonds, according to the weekly IDEX Online Price Report, with slightly more rises than declines.

Fancy shape diamonds again posted many price rises as they have done for the past several weeks.

The following are some of the changes in this week's IDEX Online Diamond Price Report.

• 0.18-0.22 cts just two changes, both downwards

·         0.23-0.29 cts I / SI1 -4.0% to $1,200 p/c

• 0.30-0.39 cts J / VS1 +2.7% to $1,900 p/c
• 0.40-0.44 cts M-N / SI1 rising by 4.0%
• 0.45-0.49 cts unchanged
• 0.50-0.69 cts J / I2 +5% to $1,050 p/c
• 0.70-0.79 cts unchanged
• 0.80-0.89 cts no changes
• 0.90-0.99 cts unchanged
• 1.00-1.24 cts L-M / I1 declines of 3-4%
• 1.25-1.49 cts L-M / I1 rising by 3-4%
• 2 cts just one change, downwards
• 3 cts two changes, one up, one down
• 4 cts D / SI1 +3.1% to $29,700 p/c
• 5 cts E-H / SI1 rises of 3%

• 0.18-0.22 cts E / VVS1 +3.2% to $1,600 p/c
• 0.23-0.29 cts F / VS2-SI1 rises of 3-5%
• 0.30-0.39 cts G-I / SI1 increases of 3-4%
• 0.40-0.44 cts two changes, both rising
• 0.45-0.49 cts J / SI1 +4.4% to $1,200 p/c
• 0.50-0.69 cts mostly rising
• 0.70-0.79 cts just one change, an increase
• 0.80-0.89 cts two rising, two falling
