IDEX Online Polished Price Changes – June 25, 2015

(IDEX Online News) – Once again, there were relatively few price changes in rounds this week compared to fancies. Most of the movement that occurred in the smaller sizes (below 0.3 carats) was negative and in the better clarities. Goods above 0.7 carats saw most changes in the lower colors and generally in the middle clarities.

Prices of fancy cut diamonds had more motion with almost all of the changes trending to the positive.

• 0.18-0.22 cts H / VVS1 down 3% and J / VVS2 down 4
  
• 0.23-0.29 cts changes including E-F / VVS1 down 2% and I-J / IF down 3%
  
• 0.30-0.39 cts G / SI1 down 2%and L / SI2 up 5%
  
• 0.40-0.44 cts J / I1 up 4.5% and K / VVS1 up 3%
  
• 0.45-0.49 cts J / I1 up 4%
  
• 0.50-0.69 cts a few changes including F / VS2 down 3% and L / VS1 up 3%
  
• 0.70-0.79 cts changes including L / VVS1-VS1 up 2%
  
• 0.80-0.89 cts M-N / VVS1+ up 2-4% and L-M / VS2-SI1 up 2-3%

• 1.00-1.24 cts changes including K-L / VVS2-VS1 up 2% and N / SI2 up 4%

• 1.50-1.99 cts I-J and L / SI1 up 2-3% and K / VVS2 and SI2 up 2-3.5%
  
• 2 cts K / SI2-I1 up 3-4% and L / IF and SI2 up 3-4%
  
• 3 cts a few changes including M / VVS2-VS1 up 2-2.5%
