Fusion & I. Hennig to Tender 153-Carat Diamond from KAO Mine

(IDEX Online News) – A 153.66-carat white diamond will be the highlight of an upcoming tender of rough diamonds from the KAO mine in Lesotho.

Other exceptional diamonds being offered at the Fusion Alternatives/ I. Hennig KAO Tender include a 16.94-carat fancy yellow diamond and a 13.32-fancy pink stone.

“We are excited about the prospects of the exceptional rough diamonds being offered that were recovered from the KAO mine last month,” said Fusion Alternatives CEO David Kuchler. “The KAO mine is building a reputation for the recovery of world-class magnificent stones including the 36.06 carat ‘Pink Storm’ diamond that sold for $15.36 million in January 2014.”

There will be special viewings of the stones in New York, Ramat Gan and Antwerp, with the tender closing on August 27.
