(IDEX Online News) – Prices of round diamonds continue to drop. Smaller goods, those sized between 0.18-0.22 carats, as well as those in the 0.9-0.99-carat range saw some slight rises, but overall, the situation is far from positive. Diamonds above 3 carats seem to have arrested any price drops, with the situation remaining the same as last week.

 

There was far less price activity when it came to fancies. Goods sized between 0.45 and 0.99 carats saw the most changes, but even these were relatively limited. While prices dropped in a few isolated sizes and categories, overall, the situation is much more positive for fancies than rounds.

 

 the picture was more positive with price declines evident in only a few limited sizes. Most of the positive changes were seen in the middle to better clarities.
