CIBJO President to Attend IDWI

(IDEX Online News) – CIBJO, The World Jewelry Confederation, has announced that its president Gaetano Cavalieri, will head a delegation of buyers from Italy to International Diamond Week in Israel.

Cavalieri will meet other diamond, gem and jewelry industry leaders while on his visit, including a meeting with recently elected Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) president Yoram Dvash.

"The Israel Diamond Exchange, as leader in the international diamond industry and trade, has long played a pivotal role in supplying jewelry manufacturers and retailers worldwide with the full array of top-quality diamonds,” said Cavalieri.

“More recently its members have become major producers of high-end diamond jewelry. We, therefore, are expecting to see more than just loose diamonds, but also a selection of innovative jewelry designs produced by Israeli diamond firms."

Dvash welcomed the CIBJO president’s announcement, saying that Cavalieri was a great and trusted friend of the Israeli diamond industry.

International Diamond Week in Israel will run from February 14-18.
