IDE and IKO Sign MoU at IDWI
February 16, 16(IDEX Online News) – Yoram Dvash, president of the Israel Diamond Exchange and Norayr Isler, chairman of the Istanbul Chamber of Jewelry (IKO) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the International Diamond Week in Israel (IDWI).
The MoU seeks to widen and deepen the cooperation between the organizations, in addition to strengthening the reciprocal ties between the respective diamond and jewelry industries. IDE’s newly-appointed managing director Eli Avidar said that it could also provide an opportunity to foster closer ties between Turkey and Israel.
"We have agreed to cooperate on mutual activities, encourage our members to participate in the partners' respective industry shows and too meet regularly to discuss mutual business opportunities, with an aim to reinforce the commercial relationship and to facilitate trade between both countries' industries,” said Dvash.
