International Diamond Week in Israel to Take Place in February

(IDEX Online News) – The Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) has announced that the next edition of the International Diamond Week in Israel (IDWI) will take place from February 13-16, 2017.
The event has been held in Israel for the past five years and has become a fixture on the calendar of professional diamond dealers globally.
The IDWI will take on a different format, where trading on the exchange’s floor will be from Monday through Wednesday, and Thursday will be for individual meetings, as well as free tours and other IDE activities.
IDE president and World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) vice president Yoram Dvash said that he expected a number of representatives from other members of the WFDB to appear at the Israel event.
“IDWI has established a reputation as a prime trading opportunity for diamond dealers,” said incoming IDWI chairman Haim Volner. “The quantity and variety of goods on offer are enormous, and the costs of participation are minimal. We’ve also upgraded the event with a new format and other new features, which we’ll announce later on.”
