Top Management of Tiffany & Co. Pay Visit to ALROSA Production Facilities

(IDEX Online) – Tiffany & Co. reported that senior management visited some of ALROSA's operations.

The delegation was led by Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Tiffany & Co.'s Diamond Division Michael Bergkoetter in a bid to familiarize itself with ALROSA's diamond operations.

They visited the Internatsionalny underground mine, Nyurbinsky and Botuobinsky open-pit mines, the processing plant at Nyurba division, and ALROSA's Diamond Sorting Centre. ALROSA has supplying diamonds to Tiffany & Co. since 2012.

"Issues like social welfare and environmental protection are vital for Tiffany. The implementation of such programs, including protection of employees and concern about society, are an integral priority in our rough diamond supply chain," said Michael Bergkoetter, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Tiffany & Co.'s Diamond Division.
