The IDEX Online Polished Price Report - January 2017

(IDEX Online) – There was movement in prices of round goods in January and mixed trends. There were noticeable declines of 2-3% in 0.50-0.69 carat goods in IF-VS1, D-G colors. There were also increases in a wide range of colors and clarities: F+ / SI1-I1, and also in JKL / VS2+ in a range of colors and clarities in 1.00-1.24 carat goods.

In fancy goods, there were clearly significantly more rising prices than decliners, particularly in the 0.30-0.39-carat category of around 3 percent in the D-J, I-F-SI2 categories.
