Organizers Hail Success of Antwerp's Carat+ Tradeshow

(IDEX Online) – The organizers of the new Carat+ tradeshow in Antwerp, which closes today, reported that the inaugural show had performed strongly.

The show took place at the Antwerp Expo, the main exhibition grounds in the Belgian diamond capital.

Foot traffic was described by the organizers brisk, with buyers from both Europe and across the globe, and 116 exhibitors from 14 countries.

The highlight of the opening night was the entrance of Caterina Murino, star of the 2006 spy thriller Casino Royale and a member of the exclusive Bond Girls club who was wearing jewelry created by Roberto Coin.

There was a total of 2,927 visitors from 29 countries registered for the fair.

The next edition of the show takes place from May 6 to 8, 2018
