US Couples Wedding Spending Flat in Q2, Ring Costs Decline Slightly

(IDEX Online) – The average amount US couples are spending on their wedding as of Q2 2017 was flat, down just $1 to $25,960 from $25,961 in Q1 2017.

The amount spent on an engagement ring dropped very slightly – down 0.2 percent to $3,339 from $3,406, according to The Wedding Report.

There were also slight decreases in the amount spent on wedding rings/bands for men and women – down 0.2 percent and 0.4 percent, respectively, to $485 and $782.

The latest average wedding cost is based on 2,412 survey samples collected from April 1 through June 30.
