ALROSA Sells Rough Worth $326M In October; $3.62B in Jan-Oct

(IDEX Online) – ALROSA reported rough diamond sales of $326.7 million in October, with polished diamond sales of $10.9 million.

Meanwhile, in the January - October period, ALROSA sold $3.62 billion of rough, while polished sales were $79.0 million.

"Trade in October was more active than a month before - the company's sales grew compared to September, being stimulated by additional growth in demand for small-size rough diamonds at the end of the month," said ALROSA Vice President Yury Okoemov. "At the same time, sales in October last year were higher in monetary terms due to the sale of a larger volume of products from inventories."
