Firestone Diamonds Appoints Patrick Meier As A Non-Executive Director

(IDEX Online) – Firestone Diamonds plc, whose operations are focused in Lesotho, has appointed Patrick Meier to its board as a non-executive director, effective immediately.
Meier has 25 years of experience in mining, and is currently Chairman of Anglo Pacific Group plc. Between 1982 and 2014, Patrick spent his career with Royal Bank of Canada (Europe) Limited, latterly as Head of European Investment Banking.
The company also announces that Debbie Thomas and Mike Wittet have stepped down from the board.

Patrick brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the mining sector, having been an adviser and financier to numerous companies over the past 25 years. He will be a valuable addition to the Board as we look at ways of continuing to strengthen the company's financial position following the recent refinancing.”
