CIBJO to Deliver Consumer Confidence Speech in London

A senior official from CIBJO, The World Jewellery Confederation, will deliver a speech on consumer confidence at the International Jewellery Show in London, on Sunday following a similar seminar by the DTC.

The CIBJO speech will be given by Ernest Blom, president of the organization’s Sector I (Jewellery Manufacturing/Technology/Precious Metals).

Blom, who is also vice president of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses, will speak on “The jewelry and gemstone sectors’ ethical continuum: Mitigating ‘reputational risk throughout the chain of distribution.

The seminar, which will be open to the international gem and business community, the trade press and the British business press, starts at 4 pm.
