Namakwa Signs Deal with Andre Messika
February 14, 10South African diamond mining company Namakwa Diamonds Limited has signed an agreement with polished diamond wholesaler Andre Messika, the company announced Thursday. Messika will source “suitable diamonds” from Namakwa’s mining and buying channel and Namakwa will have access to Messika’s manufacturing expertise and retail networks.

The combination of Andre Messika’s manufacturing expertise and retail network combined with Namakwa’s mining, buying and beneficiation expertise will serve to extend the reach of fine gemstones to customers throughout the world,” said Heno Kruger, Namakwa Diamonds’ head of beneficiation.
A collection of the first diamonds manufactured under the new agreement, including fancy yellow stones ranging from 50 points up to a 77.77 carat vivid yellow, will be on display March 18-23 at the Basel watch and jewelry fair.
