UBM India Launching Kolkata Jewellery & Gem Fair

(IDEX Online News) – UBM India is launching a new trade show, the Kolkata Jewellery & Gem Fair, a three-day B2B jewelry event.

UBM says the January 11-13 show is the first international B2B jewelry exhibition in East India, and will serve domestic and international exhibitors.

India’s diamond industry is mostly concentrated in the west of the country, in Mumbai and Surat

Organizers expect more than 160 exhibitors of plain and studded gold jewelry, loose diamonds, and intricate modern and traditional jewelry designs to take part and in excess of 6,000 buyers to visit the fair.

The inaugural show will feature ‘The Golden Hand Award’ by UBM India, with a judging panel of industry experts picking a winning jewelry craftsman.
