The IDEX Online Polished Price Report for July 3, 2014

(IDEX Online News) – A relatively small number of changes in smaller round diamond prices, according to the weekly IDEX Online Price Report, however larger stones saw strong increases.

In fancy shapes, changes were balanced between risers and decliners.

The following are some of the changes in this week's IDEX Online Diamond Price Report.

• 0.30-0.39 cts E / VVS2 +2.0% to $2,500 p/c
• 0.40-0.44 cts E / VVS2 -2.7% to $3,650 p/c
• 0.45-0.49 cts unchanged
• 0.50-0.69 cts one change, downwards
• 0.70-0.79 cts K / IF -3.6% to $2,650 p/c
• 0.80-0.89 cts three changes, one up, two down
• 0.90-0.99 cts L / IF-VS2 declining by 3%
• 1.00-1.24 cts unchanged
• 1.25-1.49 cts J / VVS1 -3.0% to $6,500 p/c
• 2 cts two decliners
• 3 cts F / IF +3.0% to $54,900 p/c
• 4 cts H / SI3-I1 rises of 1%
• 5 cts many increases in better colors, lower clarities

• 0.18-0.22 cts two risers
• 0.23-0.29 cts D-E / SI1 rising by 4%
• 0.30-0.39 cts E / SI1 / SI2 increasing by 3%
• 0.40-0.44 cts just one change, an increase
• 0.45-0.49 cts just two rises, both upwards in mid-color and clarity
• 0.50-0.69 cts F / IF +2.6% to $3,900 p/c
• 0.70-0.79 cts several increases in lower colors and clarity
• 0.80-0.89 cts F-I / I1 rising by 2-3%
• 0.90-0.99 cts just two changes, both upwards
• 1.00-1.24 cts several decliners
• 1.50-1.99 cts L-N / SI3 declines of 4-6%
• 2 cts mostly declining
• 3 cts just three changes, one up and two down
• 4 cts J / SI3 +3.6% to $5,700 p/c
• 5 cts H-I / VS2 rising by 1-3%
