Nominations Open for JA’s Gem Awards
May 26, 16(IDEX Online News) – Jewelers of America (JA) has announced that it is accepting submissions in five categories for the 15th Annual GEM Awards, due to take place in New York on January 13, 2017.
The GEM Awards honor the achievements of individuals and companies whose work raises the visibility of fine jewelry and watches. JA is introducing the GEM Award for Influencer of the Year, and will be given to a blogger or social media personality, who encourages consumer engagement and generates consumer desire for jewelry and watches through their content on social media platforms.
The GEM Awards Committee is seeking nominees in the categories of Influencer of the Year, Jewelry Design, Marketing & Communications, Media Excellence and Watch Excellence. The committee will review the submissions and a panel of industry experts will vote to determine the winner. Each category will have three nominees, except the Lifetime Achievement, which is presented to a single
