The IDEX Online Polished Price Report for December 19, 2013

(IDEX Online News) – Changes in the round diamond category were overwhelmingly negative, with declines in most sizes, according to this week's IDEX Online Price Report.

Fancy shape diamonds, as over the past month or so, again saw weak levels of activity with many categories unchanged.

• 0.45-0.49 cts N / VVS2 -3.6% to $1,350 p/c
• 0.50-0.69 cts L-N / SI3 declines of 3.7-4.6%
• 0.70-0.79 cts two declines in top colors and clarities
• 0.80-0.89 cts unchanged
• 0.90-0.99 cts F / VVS1-VVS2 declines of 2.0-3.0%
• 1.00-1.24 cts N / VS2 -3.9% to $2,500 p/c
• 1.25-1.49 cts unchanged
• 2 cts G / SI2 -2.9% to $10,100 p/c
• 3 cts D / VVS1 -2.8% to $66,300 p/c
• 4 cts just one change, a decliner
• 5 cts unchanged
