(IDEX Online News) – Like last week, there was some price movement in rounds, especially in goods below 0.9 carats. Smaller goods tended to the negative, while diamonds above 0.9 carats saw more positive, albeit fewer, changes.

 

The price of fancy-cut diamonds this week was generally more positive, with only a few isolated price drops. The majority of the changes were in the medium clarity range and primarily in the medium and better colors.

·         0.30-0.39 cts negative changes including G-H / VVS1-2 down 2%

 

·         0.40-0.44 cts negative changes including D-H / VS1 down 2-4%

 

·         0.45-0.49 cts a few changes including I / VVS2-VS1 down 2%

 

·         0.50-0.69 cts negative changes including E-K / VS1 down 1-4%

 

·         0.70-0.79 cts mostly negative changes including H and I / VS2 down 3-3.5%

 

·         0.80-0.89 cts mostly negative changes including H / VS2, SI3 and I2 down 2-3%
